HI Friends

Since an hour ago, after printing during the morning, i try to change some values in Cura, layer height and print speed, now I have this problem, the mod-t will not do anything. As soon as a gcode file loads into the printer, and i hit the button to print, it immediately says "printer disconnected" and it stops.
I uninstalled mods Printer Tool and deleted logs, I re-installed and nothing, is disconnected ss soon as a gcode file loads into the printer, and i hit the button to print, it immediately says "printer disconnected" and it stops and a test print using the Mod-T desktop printer tool also fails at this point with error "there was an error during the test print".

I reloaded the profile in Cura and nothing

Please help!!

Can you verify that the front light on the printer is lit and the printer is properly plugged in?

Have you tried a replacement, known good USB cable and you’re assured the USB ports on your computer are working properly?

I’ll presume a yes to the above since you’re able to send a code file.

I’d say that if the printer fails to successfully produce a test print using “Run Test Print” in the Mod-T Printer Tool app that the printer has a fatal fault. There should be a “Printer Logs” button in the app to print, what do the logs tell you?

Hi,

This happened to me many times, it was almost always caused by the print carriage being stuck. There's a gear behind the carriage that you can turn so that you can unstuck it, give it a try.

I'm a new owner of an old MOD-t. Same problem, turning the rear gear solved it. Thanks, Saud!
