mod_spdy on OS X Yosemite?

I'd like to run mod_spdy on OS X Yosemite. But the documentation here is Linux only. https://code.google.com/p/mod-spdy/wiki/GettingStarted
When I use gclient, it generates xcodebuild projects, but they don't work. At first they're missing the Base SDK for osx 10.5, but when I update them to use "Latest OS X" they choke, saying, "Unsupported compiler '4.2' selected for architecture 'x86_64'"
How do I get this to work?
