A friend installed mod_pagespeed on my live AWS Amazon server! I do NOT like the way it works but don't know how to remove it safely.

Can someone post me a tutorial for ubuntu hosted on aws amazon with a proper tutorial? Thanks. I can't find it anywhere!!

Assuming mod_pagespeed was installed through the package manager, you should be able to just run 'sudo apt-get remove mod-pagespeed-stable' (or mod-pagespeed-beta, depending on which channel you have installed). That being said, can you elaborate on what issues you are having with mod_pagespeed? We might be able to tweak your configuration to better suit your site and preferences.
