Short: We're looking for beta-testers for a mod_pagespeed effectiveness console.

Ever wonder why some resources on your site are not getting rewritten? Not seeing enough of a speed up after installing mod_pagespeed? Or just wonder whether you are getting the maximum value out of mod_pagespeed?

Many configuration problems can lead to suboptimal performance of mod_pagespeed, but it's not always easy to discover the problem.

That's why we're developing a mod_pagespeed console that will distill out any problems mod_pagespeed is having optimizing your site.

And we need your help. We're looking for beta-testers to try out the console, give us feedback and help guide us as we develop it further. The commitment for you is that you'll install the beta-package we release next week and provide feedback and update periodically as we develop the console further. The value to you is that you'll be able to find out any problems holding optimization of your site back and you'll help us focus on issues that matter most to you.

We're interested in average mod_pagespeed users, so anyone should feel free to sign up, but we are especially interested in sites that have not spent much time fine-tuning mod_pagespeed or who are not getting very much rewritten on their page.

Please email me at slig...@google.com if you are interested in joining this beta-test.

Thanks,
Shawn Ligocki

Hello,

I hadn't seen any updates on this since emailing you. Was a package released?

Thanks
