How to precache an entire tilset ?

Sorry for my begginner`s question. Is there a way to precache an entire tilset and how to generate only tiles contained
inside an ogr datasource ?

./src/geocache_seed -c geocache.xml -t mytileset -g mygrid -d
/path/to/shapefile.shp -n {nseedingthreads}

note that the supplied shapefile / datasource *must* be in the same
projection as the grid you are seeding
