It would appear that there are 8 required roles, and 9 group members.
We need 6 witnesses, and 2 lawyers. The 9th person will be an extra
lawyer.

Prosecution Lawyer:
Prosecution Witnesses:
Sam Holliday (plaintiff):
Marion Leverage (former VP of Student Life and faculty advisor to the
CSU Rastafarian Group):
Sydney Mendenhall (religious studies professor):

Defense Lawyer:
Defense Witnesses:
Dr. Afam Unamon (defendant):
Tyler Blunt (student who lived across the hall from Sam:
Tavan Belo Reaper, M.D. (Arizona’s tuberculosis control officer):

I am bad with names, so I hope I am getting this right. If I recall
from our discussion last night, Tom and Maddie are prosecution
lawyers, and Jason and Mike are defense lawyers. That would leave
Frank, Pedro, Alberto, AJ, and Michelle as witnesses. That would
leave us one witness shy, but we can figure that out later (one lawyer
needs to become a witness.) Did I get that right?

It seems like we should have a group organizer to keep us on track.
Do we have any volunteers? I do not mind doing it, but I am not picky
either way. Should we have 2 group leaders, as there are two groups?
I am working under the impression that this is an entire co-op (not
competing against each other,) but I will verify this.

It looks like the first thing we should do is to divide into teams. I
was thinking I would offer to work both teams, since we have uneven
numbers. That would mean we need 2 witnesses for the prosecution, and
3 witnesses for the defense. I do not recall if anyone had made
claims for which side to be witnesses for.

Can we define the groups/roles?

I received an update from Steve. It looks like both groups will
operate independently. So, if those being witness can chose a side,
we can work out the details amongst our groups. I will step down from
lawyer and be a witness. Do any of the witnesses have preference to
defense/prosecution?

Also, it looks like we will need to use the forum.

Michael: great questions and I will try to answer them to your
satisfaction.

1) I am just getting your group's forum set up right now. I have the
test first, then I'll do your forum.
3) The "Group" is actually composed of two Teams: Prosecution and
Defense, both of which will now operate separately from each other.

Great to hear that you guys are getting into it and want to do a good
job! Let me know if you have any other questions.

Steve
