Mockito 5.3.1 Seeing high heap usage during test execution

Hi

With mockito 5.3.1 we are observing that our heap usage has increased during test execution. Most of the memory is held by a ConcurrentHashMap containing MockMethodInterceptor. Please check the attached screenshot.

I am not familiar internal implementation of Mockito code. Can someone suggest what could be going wrong here or are there some known issues in the Mockito version I am using?
