How to pronounce 'mockito'

I took the mojito graphic as a guide and I say, "maw-KEE-toe", but I don't know if that's the desired pronunciation.

I've been pronouncing it as "Mow-Kee-Toe", based, like Geoffry, on the
drink Mojito.

I started with typical Mockito (derived from plain and boring Mocks
;). Then I heard some of my friends pronouncing it the mojito way and
it's way more fun. It reminds me about holidays and parties, not
sexless software engineering.

Go ahead and pronounce it the mojito way!

So the answer is "mo-hee-toe", right?

I put the K in the second syllable; I just wrote it that way to emphasize the sound of 'mock'.  I can buy 'maw-KEE-toe' because it sounds like 'mock', which I typically what I say.  I can buy 'mow-KEE-to' because it sounds more like 'mojito', which is what DarthHeizenberg suggested.  Based on your description, I'd say you fall in the latter camp?

Mockito sounds like the word "moquito" in spanish which means
booger :)
