Hey,
Quickly hacked a mockito-python port to Python3.x for my own needs.
Thought it may be useful for smbd else. You can download it here:
http://github.com/soplakanets/mockito-python3 and also on PyPi:
http://pypi.python.org/pypi/mockito-python3/

Cheers,
Serhiy

No, and I'm afraid it's not possible. There are some syntax and other changes that aren't backwards-compatible(from top of my head and what I particularly saw in use in mockito: catching of exceptions, imports). I think we can think of smart tricks to keep mockito compatible with both 2 and 3 branches of python but then we gonna have lot's of fun. Prolly incorporating patches between branches is easier, after all mockito is not changing that often.

What do you think?

Hey,

I don't have much time this days to maintain mockito python :) Do you
want to be a contributor/maintainer also for the version <3 ? It might
be useful to keep mockitoes close. Man, you're using github developing
python apps - that's almost like treason =) What do you think? It
would be cool to have downloadable versions of mockito python from one
page. Also there might be some patches to mockito python I haven't yet
merged due to lack of time.

Cheers,
Szczepan

OK. I don't think there is lots of stuff to-do, so I'm fine to take care of both branches.
Just add me as committer or whatever so I can fix wiki (add a download link to py3k version) on google code and check patches queue and stuff on bitbucket.
My google code and bitbucket usernames are same as on github(soplakanets).

P.S. About github -- imo it's the best collaborating tool atm, but I will have a closer look on bitbucket.
