Slack or faster communication channel

While this forum is nice for longer replies, it would be nice if we have a communication channel with instant replies.

This is especially useful for discussing pull requests and when someone is working on master (to prevent needless merge with remote origin/master).

Would a Slack channel work out for this? If that does not, any other channel is fine by me too. As long as it is suitable for sharing code and replying faster.

I agree, a Slack channel would be a great addition as it enhances the speed of feedback.

Could you just create one?
