I've put in another five hours today with the app and have revised my Wishlist, including removing the items you pointed out.
New items are
#1
#13 through #21
#115 through #118
#1 got in the way a lot today.
But still loving it... will be showing my work to the client tomorrow.
Rush to the Top of the Queue
1. Once positioned and sized, grids and dropdowns need to retain new dimensions once changed even if the internal text changes. Otherwise user has to keep re-adjusting the size of the object.
2. Distribute objects evenly horizontally and vertically.
3. Autosave. What happens if I lose my connection during a work session?
4. Word wrap on bullet fields.
5. Large nudge. Instead of moving one pixel at a time, move five or more pixels when Shift and an arrow key are pressed.
6. Lock objects in place (not selectable, not moveable until unlocked — maybe a slightly purple highlight?)
7. Be able to upload images (for icons and other graphics)
8. Ability to reverse the checkbox (i.e. put box on the right of text)
9. Colors and different fonts.
10. When centering two objects with each other, any object selected after the first one should be centered with the first one. Right now it often moves the wrong object thus adding extra work to move them to the correct spot.
11. Export to PDF. Set page size…the page stops at the right and bottom edge of the outmost objects and it looks weird.
12. Permit editing of objects in a group without ungrouping first.
13. Snap to grid.
14. Add timeout on failed save (at one point the app seemed to hang and I didn't know what to do...it eventually reconnected but it took over two minutes).
15. Checkbox with no text.
16. Option to add horizontal and vertical scroll bars to text area.
17. Change layering control to: Bring Forward, Bring to Front, Send Backward, Send to Back. I could really use Send to Back instead of clicking Send Back fifteen times to make sure the object is in back.
18. Copy style and paste style to help when I have changed how I am formatting something across many pages.
19. Only 1/4 of current lorem ipsum text for text area...it's usually too big for my purposes.
20. Ctrl key to turn off object alignment guides but constrain movement along same x- or y-axis.
21. Capture Ctrl-W and confirm.
Eh, Take Your Time
100. Select All (Cmd-A). Right now the browser highlights the whole page rather than the app capturing it and selecting all objects.
101. Sortable data grids, tables, etc. That would be really great.
102. Add a dirty document flag if you don't save after every edit. (I see it now beside the document title…quite subtle.)
103. Move Font size to an inspector and give it +/- or dropdown with choices.
104. Please allow shift return to create new line for bullets and text without creating new paragraph
105. Add tooltip text that appears in preview mode when mouse hovers over an item.
106. When duplicating a Parent Page, duplicate all child pages as well.
107. Constrain circle and rectangles when drawing with ctrl or shift key (ensures perfect circles and squares)
108. Inspector for the datagrid that allows me to set row colors, etc.
109. Ability to insert special characters like bullets
110. Ability to put commas in text of grids.
111. Visible alignment grid (very light grey).
112. On second paste of new object, place same distance away from second object as first pasted graphic was from original object (smart paste positioning).
113. Custom palette. Allow me to put the custom objects I've lovingly crafted onto a handy palette so that I can find them easily for new pages.
114. Zoom. Allows better precision when positioning.
115. Paste should replace selected object.
116. Autosize text should be off by default, or be able to set a preference (I haven't needed it so far and keep having to turn it off).
117. Text area is cutting off bottom of letters with descenders on bottom-most line.
118. Simultaneous editing.
