Custom symbols? Avoiding making repetitious changes

I am seriously impressed with Mockingbird. The only dealbreaker for me
is a missing feature: the ability to create symbols and use them
across pages. For example, imagine I'm creating a set of wireframes
for a client with, say, 20 pages, and they all share the same
navigation across the top. If the client requests a change to that
navigation, I need to be able to make the change once to the custom
symbol that I am using for the top navigation -- instead of having to
make that change 20 times to 20 pages.

This is a common scenario for me with any elements that repeat within
a page or across multiple pages: product listings, search results,
navigation... any element that shows up more than once in my
wireframes.

In many of the professional design apps, this is handled by a feature
that allows me to create custom symbols.

Any plans for something similar in Mockingbird?

Hi Jeff,

Thanks for the feedback. The ability to use templates/masters is one
of our most requested features, and as users of the app ourselves we
certainly understand why. We do have plans to address the problem of
having to change something on 20 pages by implementing a template
feature.

As for custom widgets, we plan to allow custom image upload, and we're
also thinking about allowing you to save grouped widgets as custom
widgets (which sounds more like what you're suggesting).
