HoweverI do know WSL is a new feature in windows and that LDAC is supported on ubuntu, but also that WSL is headless. Is there a way to get that driver to pass through to the windows Spotify client? Or is there a way to run Spotify through the ubuntu install even though there is no GUI? Or would it be better to just open up a hyper V or VirtualBox Linux install with like 1T and 2GB of memory to just stream LDAC?
If you have a modern pair of Bluetooth headphones, chances are it supports aptX. I personally prefer the sound of the AAC Bluetooth codec, but aptX-LL (Low Latency) is a must-have if your headphones s
Update: I had a spare Thinkpad lying around, and after some tinkering, I was able to Zorin os core 16 (based on Ubuntu LTS). After that, I was able to install pipewire and that pushed LDAC to my headphones no issue.
I've bought an HP Pavilion Notebook 15-ab289s due to it having an 802.11ac network card in it. However, I only seem to connect to my 5G wifi on 802.11n. I can get ac on my phone using the 5G wifi no problem.
Hi there @ldac,
Welcome to the HP Support Forums! It is a great place to find the help you need, from other users, HP experts and other support personnel. I understand you to have questions about your network card. I will be glad to help you.
Hi Tardis, thanķ for your reply. Unfortunately I've already tried that driver, and also some newer ones I found on Intel's website (18.30 was the latest one I found). I've also done the 'reset laptop' option and still the same.
But again on both computer GUI didn't detect DAC board and it showed demo mode. and when I unchecked demo from debug option and program the board with values in register A and LDAC button, no output on Pins. I change different values in buffer A and B but again no luck.
If it does turn on, then we probably have a power issue on the EVM that is preventing the EVM from working. If it does not, then we either have a problem with the SDM-USB-DIG or the software on your PC. As the SDM-USB-DIG is discovered by the PC, I do not think this is a driver issue.
1. Download and install the AMC7836EVM software. This is a different device, but it uses the same SDM-USB-DIG. Please launch this software as well with the SDM-USB-DIG connected to the PC but not the EVM hardware. Does the LED turn on now?
I check again the DAC60096EVM GUI. After I installed AMC7836EVM software I didn't uninstall it just run DAC GUI and surprisingly it detect hardware without any issue and also LED goes on. Even I got output voltage from the board.
I have another problem, I try to use python script but GUI show me error "Pythone 2.7 not detected. Please install python 2.7 to use scripting". I already install python 2.7.18 with IDLE and its on windows path.
Good to hear that the GUI is now working. I will have to look into why the original had an issue installing the driver. One thing that comes to mind is that the AMC7836EVM installer was recently re-compiled, so it might have better Windows 10 support (I assume that is what you are using).
I am happy too that my GUI now is working. You are right, if the AMC7836EVM installer was recently re-compiled for sure it has extra dll file or driver for windows 10. I try to find a windows 7 PC and installed GUI on it to check that GUI works on windows 7 or not (Just for education purpose to help others) and I will post the result here.
Jedynym rozwiązaniem jakie znalazłem w sieci to zakup Fiio BTA30. No i prawie 700...
I started using my XM5s wired more often (turned on), just to get the most out of them since LDAC is still a lossy way of transmitting audio. It was more of an experiment at first but now I do it more often especially when I'm in very busy/crowded areas where LDAC tends to stutter.I EQ them in my Walkman app, because the stock sound is a bit too warm and veiled for my taste, I tried to re-create my custom app EQ as close as I could and I think it sounds superb. Now like I've posted before I think DSEE is an underrated technology even on lossless files, it manages to bring out vocals and create a bit more separation, bass even after EQ sounds punchier and tighter. I love how it makes my music sound, of course the difference it makes is very minor but I do enjoy the effect it gives. It works best with lossy files/Spotify because that's the biggest difference I have noticed, its really night and day when used with low-res codecs.
Najlepiej zrobić test z osobą ktra będzie przełączać kodeki losowo np 100 razy i notować ile razy poprawnie odpowiedziałeś. Dopiero wtedy można obiektywnie stwierdzić, że ten program rzeczywiście coś zmienia, poza wyświetlaniem napisu "LDAC".
The liquid-desiccant air conditioner (LDAC) for the pool at the Schaefer Center eliminates essentially all of the 140 MBH that was used to heat the perimeter air and a significant fraction of the 681 MBH that was used to heat the pool. At the same time, the LDAC provides 11 tons of latent cooling to the space, which directly reduces the load on the chilled water coil that had been doing both sensible and latent cooling. The LDAC deeply dries the 3,240 cfm supplied to the perimeter air curtain. The supply dewpoint for this air is below 45 F, effectively avoiding condensation on the windows without heating the air. Pool water directly cools the LDAC, so the latent load served by the LDAC, which approximately equals the evaporative heat loss from the pool, is returned to the pool. The 200 MBH that is needed to regenerate the liquid desiccant is met by recovering heat from a 75 kW CHP system that is installed at the site.
What do you like best about the product?10 years support from the community.
It really helps for corporate dev environment as OS is not something people like to change easily. What do you dislike about the product? The support of hardware drivers is still the same as the basic version.
Ubuntu works best for most of the devices but sometimes it fails to deliver drivers for some. I couldn't find anything new in Ubuntu Pro regarding that. What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?The LTS in Pro is providing 10 years of support which is actually cool. This thing can be compared to MacOSX as developers don't like to change or tweak with the OS regularly.
I am also a developer.
What do you like best about the product? We have used this OS for the Wordpress in production working very efficiently. What do you dislike about the product?Till now no issues in using this OS. Very much recommendedWhat problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?Very user friendly and compatible
What do you like best about the product?1. Open source, no tracking, no advertisements and it's free.
2. Its really not much resource intensive, you can run it on hardware from 2000s, with minimum specifications.
3. Powerful and functional for development.
4. Support for codecs like LDAC (can be installed) for better audio compared to Windows etc.
5. You wont miss windows or MacOs that much. What do you dislike about the product?Even though support for codecs is present all media wont play smoothly by default, sometimes you would need to really test the things to make it actually work..What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?Reduces software costs as it is really cheap. Linux works for servers the best. Availability for specific development software is much better on Linux compared to Windows servers.
What do you like best about the product?Timely vulnerability fix available which help to maintain the security of the Linux systemsWhat do you dislike about the product?Pricing could be better for a large environment with thousands of servers. What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?Helps to fix the vulnerabilities and keep the Linux systems update to date
What do you like best about the product?Ubuntu Pro LTS is designed for long-term use and is supported for up to ten years, providing users with a stable and reliable operating system. It includes many security features, including secure boot and AppArmor profiles. It also provides regular security updates and patches to keep your system safe. LTS ensures long-term developer support and ensures forward compatibility. What do you dislike about the product? One of the major disadvantages of Ubuntu Pro is the limited choices of custom applications. Major design and creative software titles only exist for Windows/Mac OSs. The Linux OS also has very poor implementation of Directx/Game centric drivers which limit its ability to support the latest game titles. What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?Overall, Ubuntu is a versatile operating system that can be used for a wide range of cloud computing applications, from virtual machines and containers to IaaS and PaaS platforms and DevOps workflows. Its flexibility, stability, and security make it an attractive option for organizations running applications and services in the cloud. Quick implementation of Virtual Machines using Ubuntu as a base image gives us access to containers by using popular container technologies like Docker, Kubernetes, and LXD. Containers provide an efficient and lightweight way to deploy and manage applications in the cloud.
