Syncing Content Editable Divs

I already put this on the main google code group, but then I found this and decdedd this was more specific. How would I go about syncing contenteditable divs? I need to do this so that I can get synced text formatting. Please help.

There are some collab plugins for CKEditor that use DMP to do this. Maybe try to check in to those.
