Trouble getting started with the daemon

Hi, I just downloaded and tried to run mobwrite, and ran into a few
issues. Perhaps you can help?
1. Running the daemon from the download page throws an error that
the .CFG attribute is undefined. It seems to be present in some of the
other packages, but not the daemon
2. I gave up on the download, and tried to run the trunk daemon. I
can't run the package.sh script without errors (i think related to me
not having blaze_package - what is that). Anyway, so I commented the
stuff that wasn't related to the daemon, and got the package to
build.
Do you think you could perhaps document the requisites for building
the project, or update the default download so it's a bit easier to
get started?
