Does Github Mobiscroll free ?

hi guys,

I'm new. I was on mobiscroll website, and they sell it from $145.

HOwever, I found the github and I can fork it, and I see the license on Github is MIT.

So, my questions are:

1. Github Mobiscroll and the mobiscroll selling, are they different?

2. Do I need to buy a license on mobiscroll to use the Github Mobiscroll ?  The Github Mobiscroll is totally free and not a trial version of Mobiscroll, right?

Thanks guy. Just learning to write mobile app with phonegap, and I couldn't make any good money, so $145 for just 1 component too much for me right now.
