Hi everyone,
Eager to gather feedback on this proposal / framework.

it's very much a draft but looking forward to its evolution. You'll find a description of the type of workplace training we are designing and delivering that embraces mLearning, hopefully in a relevant way.  Thanks in advance.

Hi Linda,
Enjoyed the project.

I wasn't clear exactly what an emergency in that environment entailed.
But thoughts are:

Check out David Metcalf's presentation, he showcases a pack of cards that US officers showing them step by step instructions to medical procedures (but this could be adapted to any topic)  The cards can also link in via AR to demonstrate 3D simulation.

This project has huge potential for AR mLearning.

Cheers

Hi Elizabeth,
Thanks for taking the time to read the proposal. Finding a gold mine of resourcecs in Week 3. AR is definitely a direction I'm eager to learn more about. Loved David Metcalf's presentation. We are about to pilot an AR game for undergrad students to explore risk issues that may arise their first year. The emergencies that our team manages are very diverse from environmental spills on campus to managing community reaction to international speakers who visit our campus (Eg. The visit and panel participation by the CEO of Nestlé - which went very well; diverse views were respected and the speaker was able speak). We also train for fire, weather - tornadoes are a risk in Alberta, outbreaks, etc. Any situation that poses a risk to our campus community.
