WRI India is hosting a webinar series on 'India's Strategy for Transforming Mobility: Challenges and Opportunities' from 30 July to 3 August 2018. These webinars will focus on themes such as alternative energy, reinventing public transport, data analytics and mobility, and more, and will be held in the lead up to MOVE, a Global Mobility Summit organised by the Government of India’s think tank, NITI Aayog on 7 and 8 September 2018. The Summit will aspire to identify a road ahead in meeting India’s mobility challenges by tapping into local and global expertise.
As one of the partners for the Summit, WRI India is hosting this webinar series and will bring together experts, think tanks, academia and other stakeholders engaged in the area of mobility. Starting with a presentation by WRI India on the mobility situation in India and the proposed transformation strategy, the one-and-a-half-hour-long webinar will be followed by an open discussion and consultation with experts sharing their ideas on the proposed strategy.
Following up on the email sent to you by Mr. Anil Srivastava, Advisor, NITI Aayog, we would like to invite you to join the webinar series and contribute to the discussions.
Interested experts and other stakeholders could either join the discussions online or join the discussions face-to-face at one of WRI’s international offices located in Mexico, Brazil, Indonesia, USA, Africa and China.
Indian Embassies or High Commissions in these countries may also organize group meetings and will inform you about these separately.
