Cell towers must protect birds

This ruling is interesting, but there is no mention of the fact that
towers emit microwave radiation and that this is hazardous.The
limitatuion seems to be that towers are dangerous, because birds fly
in to them and also that aviation lights can disorientate them.

Still a long way to go to show that the real dangers come from their
emissions.

Similarly the Government Minister trots out all the very old
statements about the ICNORP guidelines and low power, so they do not
need to do anything else/ All this in relpy to a parliamentary
question.

Money and business really do " talk " here.

FCC Must Weigh New Towers' Risk to Birds

Writing for The Los Angeles Times, Jim Puzzanghera says, "When
considering new communications towers, a federal court ruled Tuesday,
officials need to consider whether they pose safety risks - to birds."
