Dear Sir/Madam,

ICNIRP is inviting comments on the draft "Guidelines on Limits of Exposure to Incoherent Visible and Infrared Radiation (0.38 to 3 µm)"..

The draft of the guidelines is presented there solely for the purpose of the review. Please do not refer to or cite this document. The open external review gives the opportunity to everyone with an interest in NIR protection to make comments. Your comments will be used to improve the guidelines and are as such very valuable to ICNIRP.

The consultation process ends on Saturday 21 May 2011. After consultation, all comments will be submitted to the Commission members for finalization of the draft.

Information concerning the guidelines progress and the publication date will be given via the ICNIRP website and email distribution. The final guidelines will be available on the ICNIRP website shortly after the Journal publication.

Please note that no reply will be sent to you individually. All comments will be studied and taken into account in the final draft, as appropriate.
