Take action today:
write a letter to the editor of the Oregonian

Quick Links...

Dear RespectPDX Supporters,

Today, Oregonian opinion columnist Anna Griffin wrote about the cell tower debate: "Portland neighbors fight uphill battle against cell towers".

We appreciate the column bringing attention to the issue; however her main point is that we should not even bother to fight this. We disagree and will defend our families, homes and communities without succumbing to a defeatist attitude.

WRITE A LETTER TO THE EDITOR TODAY!
Please write your own letter to editor of the Oregonian in response. The more original, sincere letters they receive the better.
Email: let...@news.oregonian.com

Make it 150 words or less, refer to today's column. Include your full name, address and phone number. The address and phone number will not be included, but they need it to verify your identity and will not publish your letter if you do not provide it.

NEED SOME HELP WITH BACKGROUND OR EDITING?
We have been researching this since November, and have numerous studies and other background information related to health, the law, and the economics of the cell tower debate to help back up your points. If you want some help with your letter, just e-mail us at in...@RespectPDX.org or go to our website for more information.

RESPECT PDX RESPONSE
The Beaumont Wilshire RespectPDX core group is crafting a response. We plan to get a 500 word "In My Opinion" piece published in the Oregonian soon.

Griffin's opinion column is a gift for our campaign. It is the start of a public dialog in the Oregonian if we do it right.

Thanks.
Anne Trudeau, Colin O'Neill, Andy Frazier and Ric Bernat
