Well I guess it depends on what you are trying to do. If you want to do everything locally fine but you know you are going to end up using SSH or MOSH anyway. Almost any example you could give you can almost guarantee to find an app to do something similar. Mobile terminal is a great novelty. I have learned to get around keyboard shortcut issues by having a mix of on screen commands to automate most everything I do. But since I'll usually be working on a remote group of machines that compile in seconds vs the hours it takes on my I device its not too big of a deal to me. Just use ifile for most of your needs.

Comment #14 on issue 276 by night.ho...@gmail.com: External keyboard support
http://code.google.com/p/mobileterminal/issues/detail?id=276
Bump. Key combos would give us ^c and use of ctrl in general, allow with
support of the arrow keys, gives the ability to use editors, which are
worthless otherwise. Possibly, cmd-c and cmd-v for copy/paste? What can be
done to make this happen? If only someone would adopt mobileTerminal and
maintain it. Put it up for sale, it will sell. I find it hard to believe
there is no alternative other than ssh 127.0.0.1 from a client.
