Welcome to Introduction to Web Design @ Berkeley City College.

Canvas will be the first point of reference for assignments, lectures, course materials, and announcements.  

• This course will take 10 HOURS or more per week for you to complete assignments to the expected quality. 

• Communication is vital when taking a technical course like this.

• Be sure to connect with your instructor and teaching assistant often, and especially if you have questions or concerns regarding your progress.

• If you are challenged with an section of an assignment without making significant progress, please send your questions to your instructor and TA.

I.   Video tutorials - the links for these tutorials will be placed on Canvas.

II.  Step by Step PDF Picture tutorials that will be attached below the coinciding lesson.

III. Join our Mobile and Web Group:  (Click Here to Join).

IV.  You can email your questions or schedule other times for individual appointments in person or via skype/zoom.

V.  We are an OER course, and course materials will be provided free of charge. 

VI.  At times we will be creating digital content.  You have the option to use the digital editing software you prefer for creation of content.  I personally favor Figma and XD these days to design stuff. They are both FREE and you are designing in vectors.  Although Photoshop is always a backup.
