The speed issue

I notice it's a bit slow when start the MobileGTD, it needs some time to
scan the projects on the disk, I'm not a programmer, don't know if it can
be improved by using another language like C, C++? And I also don't like
Mobile GTD depends python, it's a bit huge, I need to install it for using
MobileGTD.

I measured startup time, it takes Python about 3 seconds to start up. The rest is reading from disk.

C and C++ imo are ugly languages and no option for me.

I am thinking about porting MobileGTD to Ruby, but that will have to wait until after

the Flash UI is working, because Ruby for Symbian does not yet support to many UI widgets.
