Role: Core Java / Oracle Developer
Location: Weehawken, NJ
Duration: 4 weeks

Rate: $/hr on C2C All Inclusive
Keys to successful candidate:
1. Have all key requirements: Core Java & Oracle Development 50% Java; 50% PL/SQL.
2. Have excellent communication skills.
3. Legal work authority to be on project for 2 years.
4. Financial Services Experience.
Primary Responsibilities:
Plan, architect, design and manage technical solutions, which cater to various business groups/clients of Operations and Compliance.
Build and sustain a strong team of developers, ensure there are no single-man risk dependencies on the system.
Effectively communicate to all the stake-holders about planned changes (other app teams, infrastructure, business).
Talk to the business sponsors to help gather requirements.
Taking accountability for controlled and smooth change management process.
Ensure that the code produced by the team is functional and highly maintainable.
Enforce development best practices and standards.
Required Skills:
5+ years of experience in software development using Core Java, Perl, SQL and Shell.
Strong Java, JDBC, Multithreading, JavaScript, XML.
5+ years of experience working as oracle developer.
Strong Oracle, PL SQL, oracle performance tuning.
