Standard Platform Prescriptions for using CyberArk AIM:
· Description – gather and analyze requirements for each key technology platform in use to develop a consistent, standardized method for integrating applications with CyberArk AIM.
o Example – Java running under WebSphere on Linux.
o Example - .NET applications running on Windows.
o Example - UNIX Scripting – Korn Shell, BASH, Perl.
o Example - PowerShell Scripting.
· Timeframe – begin mid-to-late August.
· Estimate four to eight weeks of full-time work. Probably a mix of onsite and remote.
· Engage owners of existing service accounts in the enterprise used by applications to authenticate to a service, such as a database or other application.
· Detail requirements associated with integrating the given application use case with CyberArk AIM.
· Develop prescription documents that direct the application owner on methods to integrate with AIM, to include request for engagement, application-specific APIs and methods.
