Hey there,

I just noticed the /points/links API call returns more links than active sims on my account, which is normal because I used to have other sims as well.

My question is if it is possible to always return the MSISDN (instead only the alias).

Also, would it be possible to add a parameter which makes the API call only return current active sims (which get listed in the MSISDN list /msisdn_list call)?

Thanks in advance!

Bram

Hello Bram,

We could do this, but there might be duplicates in the list: if you move (keeping your number) from operator X to Mobile Vikings, then to operator Y and then back to Mobile Vikings, you would have two "subscriptions" in our system, and both would have the same MSISDN.

In fact, there is no need for separate referral links anymore. Referral links are only linked to the referring (existing) user, so it does not matter which link you pick (as you might have noticed on becomeviking.com: there it is just the first link in the list). In the past there was a link to the referring subscription with plans to add extra functionality to them, but this idea was abandoned.

So if you are showing these list to an end user and wondering what would be the best way to do it: don't fret about it, just pick one, they're all equal.

Hi Jan

Might be time to update the referrals API and just include the link in the /api/2.0/basic/points/stats call rather than give it a very own call with a bunch of links which don't even matter anymore, no?

And maybe while you're at it, also include the pretty 'becomeviking.com' links in the API.. Just suggestions though, I know this is not a high priority thingy.

Thanks for the feedback, I already had suspicions about the links doing exactly the same thing, but wan't sure.

(by the way, look at this beaty.. )

Damn strange Qwerty keyboards with ñ on it and all kind of weird positions for ¿ and ¡ etc :-)
