Join Mobile Twin Cities on May 9th for Presentations on Virtual Reality and Mobile Testing Strategy

Practical Application of Virtual Reality with Chris Black

Virtual Reality (VR) is fast growing industry. New tools and devices make VR accessible to an audience larger than ever before. Anyone with a smartphone can now experience VR using Google Cardboard or the Samsung Gear. In this presentation we’ll review the current VR landscape, talk about industries that will benefit from this technology and discuss options for getting started. The audience for this talk is anyone interested in VR, no technical experience is required. I’ll provide technical resources at the end of the presentation for those that are interested.

Chris Black is a software engineer and instructor at Prime Digital Academy. He has worked in the software industry for more than 10 years and has built a variety of web and mobile applications. Chris has spoken at a number of conferences locally and internationally. He has presented on topics related to using VR for education and co-founded a local meetup, Minneapolis Virtual Reality.
