[PATCH] detect externally modified MTEFileCache

Hi,

I had quite some problems using mobile trail explorer offline. It
just didn't show any maps no matter which tool I used to generate
the cache file. Reason simply was the RMS cache. Mobile trail
explorer didn't invalidate it even if the cache file changed. The
attached patch fixes that by introducing a special key 'CACHESIZE'
that stores the file size of MTEFileCache. If the size of the file
changes externally the cache is rebuilt from scratch now.
While wading through the source I also fixed a few other things,
patches attached.

I have applied your patches to the head revision 625.
Since the project still compiles your patches have passed all steps of
the established quality assurance process...
If nobody has any objections to my plan to commit the changes I will
commit them tomorrow.
