I'm forwarding this from a friend. Please contact Brian if you are interested in any of the projects below.
Hello!
We're a fun little start-up looking for some last minute iOS hacker help! We've got some wild, crazy demos we'd like to do to raise our next fundraising round. We're GreenGoose! We make little wireless sensors -- they measure things people do and make life more playful, check out
www.dev.greengoose.com. We're now doing something a bit different and looking for some help.
A few fun little projects below. Putting $500 out there for each one, negotiable, but need it completed by February 13th. We'll double the funds if we're able to do our next raise in March. These are hacker projects and need something working at an "80%" level. Not looking for a perfect, nice UX, etc., just pieces we can polish up and merge with some other apps. Let us know if there's interest... happy to talk more.

Project #1 – Turn on and off the lights with your iPhone using Wemo Outlet
Port working UPnP Python scripts that control a Wemo WiFi outlet to native objective-C, creating a library/SDK.
Project #2 – Simple Voice Recognition
Implement voice recognition (open source package?) to recognize 4-6 user-created words. No network/remote methods… must be self-contained on iOS mobile device.
Project #3 – Recognize basic gestures with accelerometer on BLE HW device
An external device sends X-Y-Z force updates each time it’s moved. Need to detect waiving the device in a circle, a square, and back and forth (left/right) and (up/down).
Thanks!
All the best,
Brian
