I have a strange problem:
I wanted to use mobile observatory on my new tablet but when I open the playstore on it I cannot find it - as if it would not exist...
When I search for "mobile observatory" I can choose among a plethora of astronomy programs that are listed, but not the one I want...
If I try to find it on my phone it shows up.
My tablet is a Fire 10 HD that I tweaked a little so that it can access the Google playstore (it is normally restriced to the Amazon-ecosystem).
I have installed about 15 apps from the playstore without any problem, so it ususally works...
Does anybody have an idea what that problem might be or what I could try?
Many thanks!
My kids bought me a Samsung tablet for the holidays, and I had the same problem even locating some of the apps that I have on my phone.
After reading some other support threads online, it is normal for the Play Store not to show incompatible apps.
I even found the APK files for some of those on third party sites, downloaded them, and tried to install them; they failed to install.
You can find the APK for this app, and try to side load it to your tablet, but don't be surprised if it fails to load.
The developers will have to decide to increase the compatibility of the app in order for it to install on your tablet.
There are some tweaks and hacks available, but I cannot recommend them.
