REINER KNIZIA'S KINGDOMS

Kingdoms 1.60 went live on the Apple Store yesterday. LOTSA changes.
First, we've redone the background grid to look much more attractive.
We've also updated the whole app to work with the widescreen iPhone5. We
added 12 new achievements, which help guide you through cool stuff to do
as you learn to play the game. And we've also added an option for
shorter 1-round games if you want *really* fast Kingdoms play.

Finally, we've added two in-app purchases which we hope you'll take
advantage of if you're a Kingdoms fan.

* Monument & Zombie Horde introduces two +8 tiles and one -8 tile, to
give you a bit more variability and excitement in the game.

* Big & Mountainous Boards introduces two different game boards you can
play upon. The big board is 5x8 on the iPhone and 6x6 on the iPad. I
find that the iPhone version in particular allows for dramatically
different play. The mountainous board is the larger size and puts
mountains at the corners which makes for some interesting shapes and
some neat combinations of short and long rows. I think it dramatically
changes the game too.

The IAPs are just $.99 each. If you want to see more special tiles (like
our previous Heroes release), more resources and hazards, or more
boards, you can vote with your dollars and we'll listen.

KINGDOMS LITE

We've also released a "Lite" versions of Kingdoms which cuts the game
down to its bare essentials (just one round of play, no special tiles
except the dragon, and only easy opponents). All of the missing features
are available as in-app purchases. If you've never played Kingdoms, and
you aren't sold on it, give the Lite game a try. Better yet, tell your
friends about it too!
