A new version of the Modern Art Card Game was released by Apple last
night. It contains the UI improvements that I made for Masters Gallery
(and it managed to beat Masters Gallery out the door by at *least* a
day, though it was sent to Apple a day later!).
The updates are all quite minor:
* Phase names now shorter and more succinct
* +2 placement over pop-up info has a better location
* Pop-up name IDs the player starting the next round
Some folks had also reported crashes when they read the rules on an
iPad3. Though I wasn't able to replicate the problem, I did update some
code that I guessed was causing the problem. If you did see rules
related crashes prior to this release, I'd love to hear if they're gone now.

PS: I'm expecting Masters Gallery any day as Apple has had it since the
1st and we've usually gotten 7 day turnaround. I'm currently working on
creating an in-app purchase library for our games; as soon as I have it
in place I'll be using it to create a set of four new tiles for
Kingdoms. After that I'll be working on Reiner Knizia's King Arthur Card
Game for release in Winter 2012-2013 and I'm also about to send a
contract off for Reiner Knizia Sherlock Holmes Card Game (formerly:
Looting London), with a scheduled release of sometime in 2013. Oh, and
I'm still working on Eric Vogel's Armorica in my free time; it's now
mechanic-complete, but still needing some UI and AI love. Hoping for a
2012 release of that, probably before either of the Knizia's.
