Replication time

Hi,

I'm trying to to benchmark the replication time between my android test app to my sync gateway; I have approx 3500 documents (size of each document is ~1 kb) in my bucket, when I run the app on android for the first time and let syncing happen, it takes about 15 min to sync all 3500 documents.

Is this normal?

It's hard to say what is "normal" when there are so many variables here (including the highly variable factor of network speed)

What kind of device and network are you testing on? The only place I can imagine this being normal is on the emulator, or on a very slow network.
