Hi all.

Which version of couchbase-lite does the android phonegap plugin use?

At the github repo, there's a cblite.java file that's 5 months old. (https://github.com/couchbaselabs/Couchbase-Lite-PhoneGap-Plugin)

Is it easy to just replace that file with the new beta, or is there more to it than that?

Cheers,
Daniel.

Sorry, I should say, is it just a case of replacing the .jar files in the lib directory?

My understanding is that there's been some api changes, does cblite.java need to be updated to reflect that before the new libraries can be used?

Hi Daniel,

Yep, it should be just a matter of replacing with the new beta2 jars.  Also, if you get it to work, please send a pull request while you are at it.

I don't know of any incompatibility with cblite.java introduced by the beta2 changes, but if there is I'm sure it's a quick fix since there's not a whole lot of code in that class.

We don't need a pull request, we just have a simple builder script that will be fixed as soon as the build team finished their Couchbase Server release. So once that happens we'll have an official update to beta2. It still might be a week or so... in the meantime swapping out the jars should work.
