Keep local document from Syncing to gateway

I want to create a document in couchbase lite but I don't want it to sync to the gateway under certain circumstance.

Is there a flag a can add to the document? Or can I customize the sync method in couchlite ?

Write and register a filter block, then set that filter in your push replication.
