documentIDs property for pull Sync

Greetings!

I'm trying to use the documentIDs property to sync specific documents that aren't in any channels down to the mobile device. No matter how I try to use the property (with a clean database, after an initial sync, etc.) it always fails with 400 bad_request.

I'd like to ask, for one, is this property supposed to do what I'm thinking it does? Two, am I doing something wrong, or if not, is there any ETA on a fix if this is still a feature being worked on?

I searched for an issue covering this and found the one that you filed (thanks!)

I think it was an oversight that SG doesn't support the doc_ids parameter on the _changes feed, which is what's required for pulling a specific set of documents. I have some client-side feature work that will need this functionality, so I think it's likely we'll add it for the next release. (No ETA yet.)
