Location: Irvine, CA Onsite 
Duration: 6 + months

JD

·  Design, code, test, and implement new and existing applications using MicroFocus COBOL or NetCOBOL frameworks.

·  Write, embed, optimize, and maintain SQL queries to support application logic and data access.

·  Debug, troubleshoot, and resolve application issues in development, test, and production environments.

·  Analyze business requirements and translate them into technical specifications and solutions.

·  Collaborate with analysts, QA, DevOps, and other stakeholders to ensure high-quality deliverables.

·  Participate in code reviews and enforce coding standards and best practices.

·  Maintain documentation and runbooks for applications and database interactions.

·  Support migration and modernization efforts (e.g., legacy mainframe to distributed systems or cloud).
