Hartford, CT Onsite

The
Clinical Business Analyst acts as a bridge between clinical stakeholders,
business teams, and IT, translating clinical and operational needs into clear
business and system requirements. The role supports analysis, design, and
optimization of clinical workflows, healthcare applications, and data
integrations to improve quality, compliance, and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities
• Partner with clinical, operational, and product
stakeholders to elicit, analyze, and document business and functional
requirements
• Develop current state and future state process
flows, workflows, and data flow diagrams
• Translate requirements into functional
specifications, user stories, and acceptance criteria for development teams
• Analyze clinical workflows such as Utilization
Management, Care Management, claims, and provider interactions
• Support system integrations involving APIs, files,
HL7/FHIR interfaces, and downstream reporting consumers
• Participate in UAT planning and execution,
ensuring solutions meet clinical and regulatory needs
• Identify gaps, risks, and opportunities for
process optimization and system modernization
• Ensure alignment with healthcare regulations and
standards (HIPAA, CMS, Medicare guidelines)
• Act as a liaison between business SMEs, clinical
users, and technical teams throughout delivery
Required Skills & Experience
• 5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst in
healthcare / clinical domain
• Strong understanding of clinical workflows and
payer systems
• Experience with requirements elicitation, process
modeling, and documentation
• Working knowledge of healthcare data &
interoperability standards (HL7, FHIR preferred)
• Experience supporting API based and data intensive
healthcare applications
Skills: Healthcare Domain
Experience Required: 10 & Above
