All,
I attended the public forum for making Chesterfield more rideable/
walkable last night. The meeting was well attended with several
council members and even a state senator in attendance.

For those that didn't know about the meeting:
In 2004, voters in Chesterfield approved Proposition P - a 0.5 cent
sales tax to develop parks and recreational infrastructure.
Chesterfield is in the process of developing a Riding/Walking Master
Plan that will lead to the installation of riding/walking
infrastructure. The meeting was an attempt to get public input on
what the best way possible to spend the money is.

The attached link discusses the meeting and contains several ways to
input your opinion - please at the very least fill out the survey
available through this link. Make your voice heard - now is the time
that Chesterfield is actively seeking your input!

Matthew,

I also attended the meeting and felt like there was good input given and good discussion about the future plans.

I am not sure if there were any others in attendance that live off Wilson Road but I hope this will stimulate the interest and get people to comment on future plans for the bike and pedestrian trails.

Thanks for sending out this message.

Best Regards,
