Mobicents Sip Servlets 1.3.2 is out !

We are proud to announce Mobicents Sip Servlets 1.3.2, certified against the Sip Servlets 1.1 specification and working on top of Tomcat 6.0.14 and 5.1.0.GA and licensed under LGPL.

This release is a bug fix and performance fix intermediate release. Here is the list of bug fixes included in this release

Thanks to the ever growing community and customers for the bug reports and contributions to this release, and notably to Naoki Nishihara from OKI who not only contributed earlier this year the SSF framework to Mobicents but is now doing some good contributing to the Core and HA parts of Mobicents Sip Servlets.   • Educational converged example : Click To Call
  • Mobicents Diameter 1.2.1.GA and a corresponding Diameter Example (Only for the JBoss distro)
  • Mobicents Media Server 2.0.0.CR3
  • The Mobicents SIP Load Balancer 1.0 1
  • The server/all profile configured for clustering in JBoss with predeployed click2call-distributable and simple-sip-servlet-distributable applications to test clustering and mid call failover (Only JBoss distro)

How to get started:

You'll find either the bundle uer guide under docs directory within the zip of the release or online instructions at

Once the server is running, you'll find online instructions at http://www.mobicents.org/examples.html to try out the examples.

Alternatively, there is a README file in the top directory of both zip files.

they actually span all components used by Mobicents Sip Servlets, jain sip stack, jain sip ha, mobicents cluster and sip balancer so this will benefit Mobicents JAIN SLEE as well as we benefit as well when JAIN SLEE fixes issues in those components. So this is good we share common building blocks in both containers for SIP this helps faster stabilization.

JAIN SIP HA & Cluster frameworks are IMHO the most important 2010
achievements. It's not easy to have shared frameworks but when it
works, such as in this case, it's priceless.
