jSS7 MAP SMS interception

Hi,
Can jSS7 stack be used for real time extracting MAP messages between MSC and SMS Centre, which will be used in application for SMS interception (to collect, store and analyze). Are there some data speed limitations which can result in skipping some messages. Any info about this topic is appreciated.

Do you mean you want to use jSS7 as sniffer that just sniffs the packets between MSC and SMSC? 

jSS7 has couple of ways of achieving this. 

1) Send all traffic from MSC to SS7 Sniffer which is setup as "previewMode" and SCCP is setup such that all incoming traffic is forwarded to other GT (SMSC) 

2) All traffic can be between MSC and SMSC and you can have port mirroring to forward same traffic to SS7. Or yo can also leverage TelScale SS7 boards which are also capable of doing the sniffing

I also want to know if JSS7 can be implemented to intercept:
Voice calls from MSC or GMSC
Data PDP from SGSN/GGSN

Or perhaps, a JSS7 based CALEA interface implementation to achieve this.

I guest jSS7 has capability of encoding/decoding MAP message.
Then things you should consider here is get the non-intrusive traffic to start.
What kind of service you need to decode. jSS7 already support SMS/LocationUpdate/USSD related messages.

Can the solution be used to support CALEA ? Interception, recording and redirection of voice calls, SMS and Data. I need to know which interfaces are available to the MSC, HLR and SGSN/GGSN.
