Hi,

Referring to http://groups.google.com/group/mobicents-public/browse_thread/thread/1be541e10667516d/5e1b77b32463c24e#5e1b77b32463c24e
I still can't subscribe to a rls. MSPS responds with a 502 Bad gateway.
Are my rls & resource-lists documents (from the referred mail) compliant with msps ?
With the BETA4 release, I understood from Eduardo's talk that's should work.

This is the console log :

What happens if you don't include the pres-list param in the to header?

Removing the pres-list param from the To header doesn't change anything, I still receive 502.
You'll find at https://lists.cs.columbia.edu/pipermail/sip-implementors/2008-December/021176.html a start point for information about that parameter. I'll give you more pointers if you wanna.

Eric.

The error log is juts the exception 1 line message ?

Btw, still using custom xcap-root or the default one "mobicents"?

Hi,

Yes, the log is just the 1 INFO line without any exception.
And yes, still using custom xcap-root path.
But I also tried with default mobicents path, and I've got the same result.

Hi,
I'm still in troubles...
I tried to increase log level in order to know what happens
but I didn't found any log4j config file in servers/default/deploy/mobicents.sar/META-INF.

Manipulate log levels in jboss-log4j.xml console appender to
DEBUG..will produce a very verbose log.

I don't think you will get more info raising the log level, I'm trying
to replicate the building of the flat list to see what is going on.

The issue here is the resource list absolute uri, the flat list maker
doesn't support it since it has no way to get "external" resource
lists. Now I don't see a reason to not support absolute uris pointing
to the local xdm, so can you please open an issue while I work on the
solution?

Hi Eduardo,
Hi also created a issue but forgot to mail it :

I tried you're patch but the test suite now fails when installing, so I'm not sure it's well deployed. I still tried the subscription but PS continues to respond 502.

Eric.

I'll do more checks tomorrow then post again here to confirm.

Hi Eduardo,

Sorry for the silent week, but I was busy with some other things.
I just made more test.
Now the RLS responds to subscribe with a 202 Accepted with a status pending as expected but I've discovered another issue within the RLS subscription to the pres-rules doc.

the RLS subscribes to /org.openmobilealliance.pres-rules/users/sips:alice@domain;pres-list=Default/pres-rules

I've just tested without the pres-list param and the PS now well expands subscription to the referenced resource-lists within rls-services document.
When I subscribe, I well receive a first  NOTIFY with a pending state, then a NOTIFY with active global state containing a resource doc with a pending state for each friends of the resource-lists.
So I guess it's OK for the patch.

Daily binary snapshots are available at
http://hudson.jboss.org/hudson/view/Mobicents/job/MobicentsSipPresenceRelease/
, the build from yesterday is already updated with the fixes for the
service uri template.

I guess you are using the integrated release, so here is a shortcut ->

Thanks in advance.

Someone, I think Aayush, already did that work to make it work with
mysql, so maybe you can get some help there. Anyway, I would really
prefer you to use the standard binary, which works with jboss default
datasource, hsqldb.

Yes Eric.

As Eduardo said, working with hsql DB will get you up and about quickly. Its good for carrying out functional tests.

But, if you still want to use MySQL, then I can help you.

Hi all,

I don't absolutely want to get mysql, it was just a doubt cause I've got a lot of DB errors et thinked Hypersonic was the cause.
I'll try again with Hypersonic (I prefer as it's bundled) and I'll send traces et logs asap.

Hi all (and sorry to be late),

I'll made more test, RLS with service templace uri works but there is errors when publishing and so no notification...
You'll find pcap files and server log attached (I hope 200kb isn't too much).

Scenarii I used :

pre-requisites:
- alice and bob both using Mercuro IMS Client with XCAP Discovery
- the architure is only composed by a sip proxy (a SER fork) and Mobicents as integrated PS+XDMS
- Pres-rules, resource-lists, and rls-services are all provisionned for both alice and bob => they both have and allow each other.

1) Alice registers, subscribes and publishes
2) Bob do it too, both users are notified for the other status
3) Alice change her status, an error occur in PS but responds 200OK and Bob isn't notified
4) Alice changer her status (again), an error occur in PS which responds 412 (Etag missmatch due to previous error)

My understand of the server log is that the db exception crashes the publish handler...
You can also see a db excetion at mobicents starting.

Tell me if you need more,

Eric.

1. Remove the hibernate property "hibernate.hbm2ddl.auto" from persistence.xml files to get rid of the JDBC StateStateExceptions.

2. SQL Autocommit exceptions are harmless, but if you dont want them to be seen on the console, you can specify <no-tx-datasource> for hsql-ds.xml instead of <local-tx-datasource>. I have heard that they are not present in JBOSS 5 releases.

3. For the publication refresh error (CompositionPolicy), I thought it was fixed in trunk !! Eduardo will be able to tell better. I tried the patch given here: http://code.google.com/p/mobicents/issues/detail?id=625 long back and it had worked well for me.

As aayush said, the db autocommit exceptions are harmless, ignore
those, and his error analysis is also correct, it is the publication
composition algorithm, which is supposed to be fixed, I will check
that and report back to you.

Hi all,

I tried again by building PS from trunk and JSLEE from 1.2.5.GA tag, but I've got the same behavior as with daily snapshot.

I had also got somes PersitenceXmlLoader error like " property tag must end with  a '>'  with somes PS sbb whereas I didn't change anything.
To solve it, I just removed my jboss directory and redone build again, again, and again, and it finally started fine...

Hi all,

I tried with latests svn update and with mobicents jains slee 1.2.6.GA but nothing has changed, I still got an exception when doing a second publish.
Also tried on a Windows XP SP3 with JDK 1.5.0_16 and got the same result.
Even tried to patch wih the fix from issue 625 but it said it has already been applied. Looking again that issue, it's about a IllegalStateException whereas I've got a ConcurrentModificationException.

As the service-template uri support looks correct, we may close this one and open another thread for the composition policy error ?

Regards,

Eric.

Can you try to update with current svn presence sources, I'm unable to
replicate it with last Mercuro version.

You may not know this yet, since it is not in docs and beta5 is not
out yet, but now authentication in the XDM will be mandatory, so you
need to add the public identity (sip:username@domain) to the user
profile mbean slee:userprofile=UserProfileControl

if you have any trouble feel free to add me to your gtalk buddy list
or come to #mobicents irc channel
