Hi Welesley,

That is correct. Future versions of jSS7 will be distributed under AGPL:

Hi Welesley,

An old version released under LGPL remains under that license. Newer versions will be under AGPL.

The intention of the change is to be able to continue to provide fully functional, high quality open source distribution of JSS7 for research, open source and other non-commercial use.

For commercial use and professional support you can contact Telestax or any of our official partners.

By the way, for qualifying startups and for companies who contribute back to the open source project, Telestax offers very accommodating and lenient commercial terms.

We fully understand the value of collective intelligence and continue to encourage a culture of meritocracy and reciprocity.

Feel free to contact me directly for more details on licensing.

Regards,

Ivelin

Quote "An old version released under LGPL remains under that license".
To clarify, does this include any release of commits made prior to the Licence change that was commited to the code on November 3, 2013?

Is this license change not likely going to cause the potential for multiple forks of the code stream to occur? That would be a shame!

Andy.

The linked announcement [1] suggests the release artifacts should be
available in the Sonatype repo. However, I only see 2.1.0-SNAPSHOT, not
FINAL, for example, cap-api artifact [2].

Did I misinterpret the announcement or was this some glitch in the
release process?
