opera GX is stuck on downloading what should i do
i left it downloading for a hour hoping for it to finish then after the hour i come to my pc and see that it hasnt downloaded still!
anything i should do?
One situation which I used to, more or less, force the problem most of the time (doesn't work everytime) is to start the server and than open the page in the client. This causes the connection on A and B to fail and C to succeed on its first try but than it hangs (most of the times).
EDIT 5:Here is a picture of the timeline in Google Chrome what I talked about in "EDIT 4". Line 38 is the new WebSocket(this.url); line and the order in which the connections happen is canvas.js, keyboard.js and than mouse.js(never comes this far). Canvas.js succeeds and keyboard.js stalls in the connecting state. This screenshot is while keyboard.js hangs.

After I'm back on Windows, its noticeable that something's off. The resolution remains 1440p, but my monitor is 144Hz and after this happens it goes to 64Hz without the option to change to any other frequency, also AMD drivers don't load with windows and just won't open when I try to launch AMD Software. I have to reinstall them to get my gpu back. It's also weird because, even though my monitor is plugged in directly to the gpu, the computer only uses my cpu, which even goes to a 100% use with Wallpaper engine, in task manager you can't even find my gpu use percentage.
Hey man, thank you for all the help, it did lead me to the solution. Because it was just made clear that it wasnt a software issue. So I was like, so my gpu is doomed and then I thought.... well.... if it's hardware, what could change?... I had checked it was well plugged in, but I decided to try changing the PCIe its connected to.
Before I tried changing the clocks, I thought I had fixed it by completely unninstalling AMD drivers with DDU aand doing a clean install, it worked for a day and half, when it started happening again. The problem is way more annoying now, because it used to happen with AAA games, but now it started happening while playing LoL which is no demanding at all.
I even tried something people say has worked for them, just changing the setting AMD gives yyou when you do a fresh driver install. If you want to have the preset for Gaming, eSports or standard. Supposedly gaming turns things off that can't be turned off entirely even when disabled.

When I turn on the DLNA, the whole system slows down again. After waiting for a loooooooooonnnnnnnnng time, and the whole database is updated, it is still slow. I try to connect to the media server, and the TV will either wait, with nothing happening, or comeback with no media found. Update: download the latest version of Opera (11.60, at the time of this writing), and you'll see a much more useful dialog whenever Opera "hangs" in the background, which reads "Opera is still closing. Please wait - (etc.)". Once you're confident that you've waited long enough to let Opera save its settings, click on the "Force Start" button, and your operating system (Windows, Mac OS X, Linux) will kill the process and relaunch Opera.
When you are facing the error message pictured in the screenshot above, you have two choices: click on the "Retry" button to attempt to start the process over. In some cases, Opera may successfully re-launch, if the reason for the problem was that Opera was still exiting in the background since you last shut it down. In most cases, however, this is because Opera "hangs" as a background process (like Store Init Failed - whatever the reason).
