Swiper is the most modern free and open source mobile touch slider with hardware accelerated transitions and amazing native behavior. Use it on websites, web apps, and mobile native/hybrid apps.

I'm using Swiper.js for a slider on a website I'm building for a client. Their requirement is something like this: There are 10 items inside the slider, 4 will be visible at one time, and everytime you click on the arrow, 4 items will slide out with 4 new items sliding in. So if I had slides 1-10, this is how the slider should behave:

Base for breakpoints (beta). Can be window or container. If set to window (by default) then breakpoint keys mean window width. If set to container then breakpoint keys treated as swiper container width

When enabled Swiper will automatically wrap slides with swiper-wrapper element, and will create required elements for navigation, pagination and scrollbar they are enabled (with their respective params object or with boolean true))

In case if you use it with other effects, especially 3D effects, it is required to wrap slide's content with element. And if you use any custom styles on slides (like background colors, border radius, border, etc.), they should be set on swiper-slide-transform element instead.

Enabled this option and plugin will set width/height on swiper wrapper equal to total size of all slides. Mostly should be used as compatibility fallback option for browser that don't support flexbox layout well

Enable to release touch events on slider edge position (beginning, end) to allow for further page scrolling. This feature works only with "touch" events (and not pointer events), so it will work on iOS/Android devices and won't work on Windows devices with pointer events. Also threshold parameter must be set to 0

In addition to Controller component Swiper comes with Thumbs component that is designed to work with additional thumbs swiper in a more correct way than Controller which is used for syncing two swipers.

Function to render slide. As an argument it accepts current slide item for slides array and index number of the current slide. Function must return an outer HTML of the swiper slide or slide HTML element.

Swiper - is the free and most modern mobile touch slider with hardware accelerated transitions and amazing native behavior. It is intended to be used in mobile websites, mobile web apps, and mobile native/hybrid apps.

I have an issue with the swiper ( )... I am on page 1 and when I swich to the page 2 I want the slider to start with the first slide. I set mySwiper.swipeTo(0, 0, false); on pagebeforeshow and it doesnt work. the STRANGEST thing is that it works perfectly if I swich to second or third slide (ex mySwiper.swipeTo(1, 0, false) or mySwiper.swipeTo(2, 0, false)) but on the first one (0) it simply doesn't swich. Why is that? I tried every possible thing. It doesn't switch on the first slide, only on others. The only method that works is onpageshow but its ugly because first it shows one slide and after another..I also tried with mySwiper.swipePrev(); a few times but its blocking on slide 2.. It wont go on the first slide.

GOAL
To populate a individual slide divs inside of a single horizontal carousel slider with content from a CMS collection based on a unique identifier (currently using SLUG as the id). Basically, each slide should point to a different item in the collection list so that I can grab corresponding image, name, description, etc. from each to fill the slide.

I want to create a small swiper slider that will rotate some logo images with a scrollable horizontal bar. I have already done something similar without problems, but now I'm facing a problem with the integration of the slider. The images I'm using have different sizes, but I want to give them a fixed width and height of 80px. I've tried to setup this value from the css but the settings will be ignored, images will be stretched to 1280px width and it will fade in between the images and I don't want this beahviour. I have more than one swiper instance on the same page, but I don't think that this can be a problem because I've setted another class for the slider who are giving me the problem. Here is the code I'm using:

I tried adding a resizeObserver but it also did not fire for the initial resize of a wrapper div. I then tried adding a small delay before initializing the swiper and it worked, however it is not a proper soution.

I want to configure a slider and I need the cards to have a fixed size, as you can see on my website. What happens is that when moving the slides, they do not move correctly but rather "stop" in other positions, what I have done is that the swiper-slide is 100% wide, and the slide wraps that are seen are with the size that I want, and the slides outside the window at 100% of its size (prev. and the others)... but I can't make them move one by one, how can I configure it in css so that they move as they should?

In addition, sliders are built with transition effects to avoid abrupt changes from one block of content to another. Building these sliders from scratch, and covering their components and transition, can be intimidating. That is why in this article we will use Swiper to create modern, fast, responsive, and native (mobile-first) touch sliders with amazing transitions.

Swiper is a JavaScript library that creates modern touch sliders with hardware-accelerated transitions (utilizing GPU to offload graphic-intensive transitions and create smoother visuals) and excellent native behavior. Swiper is available for vanilla JavaScript, Angular, React, Vue.js, and Svelte.

As we learned earlier, pagination is just a set of traditional bullets or numbers placed on the bottom of the container (in this case, the box that covers the slides). The pagination shows how many sliders are overlapping in the container.

In this section, we will look at some sliders that are ideal for images or galleries. In my opinion, two great options for gallery sliders are thumb galleries and lazy loading, which we will learn how to implement in the following sections.

This slider consists of a compressed preview image of the original that is used as a placeholder. The thumbnail image should be smaller than the original, but the exact size is up to you. This slider creates a simple thumbnail gallery module to hold content and also functions as a means of navigation.

First is keyboard control. This control utilizes the navigation keys on the keyboard (arrows keys or WASD) to control the shifting of slides. It can be initiated by adding the following to the swiper object as follows:

Second is mousewheel control: This control aids navigation of slides via the scrolling of the mouse. This is ideal for vertical sliders, as the mousewheel can quickly scroll through the content. It can be initiated by adding the following to the swiper object in the JavaScript:

We recommend Swiper.js if you need a modern touch slider component. Swiper 9 introduced Swiper Element as a replacement for its Angular component, so this guide will go over how to get Swiper Element set up in your Ionic Framework application. It will also go over any migration information you may need to move from ion-slides to Swiper Element.

From there, we just have to replace ion-slides elements with swiper-container and ion-slide elements with swiper-slide. Note that these custom elements do not need to be imported, as calling register tells Angular about them on its own.

By default, make sure you import the register function from swiper/element/bundle. This uses the bundled version of Swiper, which automatically includes all modules and stylesheets needed to run Swiper's various features.

Most methods have been removed in favor of directly accessing the properties of the Swiper instance. To access the Swiper instance, first get a reference to the element (such as through ViewChild), then access its swiper prop:

Am using the Simple Slider (swiper) on my new project created with Bootstrap Studio, it works but when am trying to make it to autoplay then its not working, its goes to fast !!!

Sliders have become an integral part of websites and web applications as they have been used to rapidly capture a user's attention as well as emphasize important information, items, or characteristics. There are an array of libraries used to make sliders, but one worth noting is Swiper.

Swiper.js is a powerful JavaScript library that lets you quickly add touch-enabled and responsive sliders to your website or web application. It has been highly embraced by many due to its flexibility in customization as well as being available in various Javascript frameworks. In this article, we will take a dive into the Swiper.js library

Swiper exports only the basic version by default, without any additional modules (such as Navigation, Pagination, and so on). As a result, you must import and configure these as well from swiper/modules.

WP Swiper Gutenberg Block is the most modern free mobile touch slider with hardware accelerated transitions and amazing native behavior. This powerful plugin is designed to be used in mobile websites, mobile web apps, and mobile native/hybrid apps, providing you with a range of features and customization options to help you create stunning slideshows, image galleries, and more.

Another note re: backend UI, the original idea was generate the functional slider within the editor. But theres an issue with conteneditable HTML elements. I lodged an issue on official swiper github repo for them to resolve. Leave a comment for them to prioritise the solution.

If you want to use the slide with text.
Select slide, add image, the image gonna appear as a background on the frontend.
If you want to use the slider for images, just add a regular image block.
