i am a graphic designer , i have been using scitex develop 800 ps l2 printer for making a postscrip file for the printing purpose, i changed the my oparating system from xp to win 7, i cant find the drivers, can you tell me where to find the scitex driver .inf format or any converter which can change .PPD file to .INF file, or other printer where i can make postscript files.
Unlike most other flatbed printers the HP Scitex FB 550 enables operators to load, print and collect media simultaneously with up to four different sized boards printing four different images. There has never been an easier way to produce vast amounts of prints in such a short space of time. The Scitex FB 550 also includes new media rollers, designed to prevent damage to media when loading prints, plus a table top roller for short runs on flexible media. HP have also redesigned the media feed tables to easily fit into near any workspace, the new space saving design allows the tables to fold away when not in use.
HP has released a new firmware auto-update for all of its Latex 300 Series Printers. The firmware update (03_09.1) will improve long-term curing performance, improve loading process for textiles, fix problems reported by some customers when printing on two or more printers from the same RIP, improved e-mail alert functionality, provide more reliable reporting of ink cartridge levels, and more.
Automatic media detection: Now when you load a media on the HP Latex 300 Series printer, FlexiPRINT Production Manager will automatically recognize the loaded media and width and will apply them to the Default Job Properties. It also sets the matching ICC profile automatically for the loaded media. This means new jobs using the Default Job Properties will automatically be set for the current media and size loaded on the printer.
Automatic ICC Profile download: During the initial media synchronization, Production Manager now downloads all ICC profiles for the media installed in the HP Latex 300 Series printer. Also, when you add a new media to the printer library, the matching ICC profile will automatically be downloaded into Production Manager.
Media sync between printers: For users with two or more HP Latex 300 Series printers, there is a new tool to allow easy synchronization of media between printers. You can access this new tool by clicking on the Sync Media button in the Latex Media explorer in FlexiPRINT Production Manager.
More HP Printer srivers: SAi FlexiPRINT Premium and FlexiSIGN-Pro HP Editions now include all printer drivers for HP Designjet Z-Series, HP Scitex LX600 & LX800 Series and Scitex FB500, FB700 & FB900 Series printers. ColorGATE has also been appointed as an HP Graphic Solutions Partner Gold level for successful achievement of HP Designjet RIP Certification status for HP Designjet printers together with 'HP Certification for Wide Format Printing with JDF Exchange' for both the HP Designjet and HP Scitex Industrial Printers.
The halftone screen becomes part of the image. If you print the image on a halftone printer, the printer will use its own halftone screen as well as the halftone screen that is part of the image. On some printers, the result is a moiré pattern.
