only single thread in merging process of moabs mcomp module？

I noticed that only one thread was used in merging process of moabs mcomp module, and mulitithread was only employed when real comparing process began.

I'am wordering whether calculation would speed up a  lot  when mulitithread was was employed immediately after mergeing  began.

Here's my code.
