Many of you are probably familiar with them, but to those who aren't,
the MN center for photography is a great resource. http://www.mncp.org/
. Their site is currently undergoing a redesign, but they have have a
gallery space, organize various speakers, and offer opportunities to
get your portfolio critiqued (for a fee).

They currently are running Photocentric: A Photographic Biennial
MCP Regional Members Juried Exhibition. I haven't been yet, but their
last show on Minneapolis Music Photography was most excellent.

Do you know if they charge to get in to see it?

The music show was in the ballpark of 5 bucks, but it is actually one
of those "suggested donation" drop boxes, so I don't think they'd break
your knees for it or anything. Still, I'm more than happy to put in
five bucks.

My wife and I also went to see the Musicopolis exhibit they had a few
months ago -- fantastic pictures from way back through today. Prince
shots from the 80's, Dylan from the 60's. I wish it was a longer
running exhibition, I think alot more people would have appreciated the
work!

I liked it so much that I signed up for a membership.
