Hi All, just wanted to tell everyone about a really cool and unique new book I just purchased. Its title is: Tracks & Sign of Insects and Other Invertebrates. It covers an interesting range of topics, ranging from eggs, frass, bites and stings, leaf mines, galls, nests and burrows, and webs, to list a few. There are excellents photos of these features. There are a few photos of eggs and cocoons of butterflies and moths. The photos mostly are of the signs of the bugs, not the bugs themselves (that would make the 580 page book even longer). Its not a book you will read cover-to-cover, but will use as a reference. If you are like me, in the first half-hour you have this book you will page around in it and learn about several things you have often seen and wondered about; lots of little mysteries will be solved. Highly recommended! I got mine from the Barnes & Noble website.
